Singing With The Sunset
She looks at the sunset
As the wind sings in her ear.
She wants to sing with it,
But she's afraid no one will listen;
Her voice is golden.
She sings with orange and pink
And purple and blue
She wants to sing with the colors of the wind
But what are the colors that we see?
The sun gets shy and he slowly hides
The night comes and dances with joy
The moon comes out to play
And the girl finds the deeper darker colors
Of indigo and black with the stars shining bright
As the moon goes away after a deep night of play
The sun creeps between the trees
The light colors of orange and yellow
Make her see the different colors of the world
Sing with the sunset and the wind
Find the colors of them,
so you can find the color of yourself
