I look around the room,
At the people that are here,
I watch the strange thoughts,
As they all disappear,
What I am about to do,
Is the biggest thing of my life,
Something that is new,
But something that feels right,
To be involved in what I am,
Is an honor higher than any,
It’s something that drives me forward,
Even though there are not many,
Not many do what I do,
Not many would succeed,
But it’s something that I am proud of,
And something that defines me,
A service to my country,
And all of the people here,
A way to protect my loved ones,
And to push away the fear…
