The beating keeps on going,
the drum is within my soul,
or burried in my body,
my heart that works in whole,
it keeps pounding within me,
and making me feel alive,
wating for something else,
to become part of my life,
for now it is just my heart,
pounding inside of me,
protected by a lock,
for which there is no key,
I keep on going in life,
but I'm never happy as it is,
maybe it's my guarded heart,
begging to be free,
I have no idea,
and I probably never will,
but for now I just keep going,
my heart never stands still,
so I break away the lock,
and forget about a key,
maybe it's just time,
to let my heart be free...
