If you loved me...

Would you put me through stress when I'm already stressed enough?

Would you throw me into a depression for no reason whatsoever?

Would you help the world beat me down?

No.

If you loved me...

Would you help me through the stress that's been plaguing me lately?

Would you pull me up out of a sinking depression?

Would you help me beat the world down?

Yes.

If you loved me...

You would act like it.
