I can't bear to see
You being happy
With anyone but me.

Why does this happen?
How can this be?
How can you be happy
With anyone but me?

I can see you're full of joy,
Nothing but absolute glee.
You being happy
With someone who isn't me.

The pain is much too great.
My soul will surely bleed.
While you're out being happy
With anyone but me.

But everything will be okay.
I'm about to be free.
You'll never have to worry
About the possibility of you and me.
