I Remember
I remember when you were MY best friend.
I was the only person you told your secretes to,
The only one you would even talk to.
But now-
Were older-
You’ve turned into a person
who always crack bad jokes,
Laughs at things that aren’t funny,
And in some ways-
Puts down other people.
Now you just ignore me,
Like I’m the whisper in the wind,
just another person standing in the hallway.
I have to fight to even get close to you,
You’ve moved on.
I remember-
when you used to be Mine.
