A Battle Behind Blue Eyes

The beauty with the blue eyes slumps her head in pain
Her enemies come from all sides;
She is hiding behind a wall of flesh
Only a cage of brittle bones encases her most valuable treasure.
This possession has been threatened, yet it is all she has to live for.
The dagger tongues come at her now and wound her deeply; yet only tears stain her rosy cheeks.
She has emerged victorious once again, gaining only strength and knowledge.
The battle has been won, and her treasure remains protected, sending life through her shattered soul.
