Anger
Cruising down to Pontiac
Almost gone too far
Need to turn around.
Turning onto an unknown side street
Following it along towards the main road once again,
A blue GMC Jimmy.
Now what’s this?
Stopping in the middle of the road?
Only paused for a moment,
Although they were not moving forward again,
They were approaching me.
Thought about laying on the horn,
Emitting a loud caution
No.
Then threw it in reverse,
Lightly pressed on the gas
Engine RPMs rose violently,
It shifted too late.
It was too late.
Bam!
In just a split second
Their car was resting on mine,
Yelling and screaming.
Now parked off to the side,
The mark was made.
Furious,
How dumb can people be?
Wait.
May also wonder,
Could have used the horn.
We could have prevented this,
It didn’t have to happen,
If only we had come to our senses.
