misery darkness falling

we run and hide from our fears. darkness fills the room. the only light is the one peeking through the curtains trying to save me from my misery. suddenly your friends run from the empty room. leaving you trapped and alone with your mind blowing thoughts. my concious wont let me sleep. even though shut eye will bring me to my dreams, i cant forget the nightmares that still haunt me. am i alone because i have nobody? or am i alone because i want nobody? i trouble myself with these questions. no one to talk to. no one to save me. i am misery.
