I see people having fun.
I see them doing dead lifts,
they do squats,
no one likes them but they do good mornings too.
I hear grunts of determination, and I smell victory.
Mean while I miss half the workout, laying down, on the cold concrete,
my back rules, almost dictates my body,
I almost wish for regicide.

The author's comments:
I have a slipped disk in my lower back, this is what workouts feel like.
