Breach
Being together is not unlike the cigarettes we breath in,
Such a good thing,
Breathe in,
Hold your breath and smile,
Exhale knowing it’s gone.
The strangest thing,
The feeling of waving as you drive away,
In that infamous white geo.
Not because that’s how we’d have it,
But because our separate lives,
Tear us from each other,
Our mothers calling us home,
When we dwell in each other’s hearts.
