A Lover's Poem
Then I lean down,
And whisper in your ear.
I only say it once,
Then watch the tear fall.
You start to sob,
But only from happiness.
I hold you tight,
Not planning on letting go.
You smile widely,
Through the tears.
Saying that you love me,
Forever.
I stroke your cheek,
Willing away the tears.
I hug you to me,
Cheek to cheek.
