Innocently Hidden
Reminiscing back, I remember quite well.
It wasn't that bad, as far as I could tell.
I got all that I wanted, more than fellow friends.
Everything was perfect, that's all I could comprehend.
One thing was wrong, though, but for long was hidden.
The mystery became open, it was no longer foreign.
My parents were the opposite of what they seemed.
Broken was the truth, not fine and dandy.
Before I could blink, we were all split up.
I was just an innocent child, lost in the ruck.
