Where I’m from…
I try to remember, with no recollection
I am not made from the materials
From the house, from the clothes
I am not even made from the memories
For I cannot remember them
I am made from the experiences
From the feelings, from the people
I am made from the feelings of loss
I am made from the inspiring people
Ones I met shortly and obscurel
I am formed from the pain
From the emotional loss
I made from the pressure of not being weak
Increasing physical and mental endurance
I do not remember my favorite outfit
Or my memories in childhood
But I do remember the happiness and love
Those that bring tears once remembered
And although I don’t remember everyone everyday
I know they made me and what I’ve become
I am made from what my eyes see and what my mind feels
I am made from those sights and feelings I underestimated
The ones that shaped me
