Can an angel and a demon
Be happy together?
Or would the rose be cut
By the thorn she held close?
When night and day meet
Who is the victor?
Night swallows day
And flees in the morning.
So I fear you and I
Cannot be together.
I’ve tried to change myself
And I find myself wanting.
I want you to be happy
So I’m going away.
When I come back
I’m going to be different.
Just don’t you dare change.
