Radio
My mind is a radio.
A broken one.
Filled with static
And interference.
I can't change the channel.
I can't play the songs I like.
I can't turn it off or turn it down.
I can't sit in silence.
Sometimes,
A song I enjoy comes in
Through the static.
But it's always loud.
Too loud.
I hate it.
But whenever life gets louder,
I can tune my radio's volume
Only upward
And I am at peace.
