I am the light hearted spirit 

I work in the darkness to provide the light

All my lives—student, athlete, daughter, sister, friend, worker—I am the light

When the class is silent I speak up

I am the one to break the awkwardness

I share my response and talk in my groups

I am the light when I am a student

When the team needs a leader I lead

I organize and encourage teammates

I work to get us out of the slump

I am the light when I am an athlete

When I am a daughter I make a rough day better

I share about my day and provide the best parts

I laugh and listen to the stories my parents tell

When I am a sister I give advice 

I am there to lend a hand

I am there to share a laugh

When I am a friend I am caring

I like to put others first and lend a helping hand

I hear about their problems and share my advice
