The Game of Synesthesia
The sweat tastes like the salt of the ocean
My head sounds like a bell at the stroke of 12
The running of others sounds like a stampede of elephants
The adrenaline is the color red, making me go faster
Faster and faster looking like a lightning bolt
But it’s broken like a drop on a glass lake, by
The sound of the whistle which looks like a frozen lake shattering,
Breaking all silence, I am taken over by one color,
Yellow the color of happiness and relief
