My English Teacher Hates Me
A door shone in the darkness
A man stands there in the faint light
he stands intently, a rake in his hand, glinting sharpness
I catch a glimpse of his face, shaded by the night
His eyes squinted and ready to brawl
My English teacher is ready to fight
He no longer wishes to see me fall
He steps slowly out of the light
slowly towards me ready to kick my tail
Yet again he will fail to get me to stop
Neither of us showing signs of letting up
Both of us ready to come out on top
he wishes to see me passed before growing up
Little does he know that he will fail
And in the end, I will inevitably bail
