Summer time splash

As the sun sets we sit and watch wondering if it’s real.
Listing to the birds chirping and the summer night is cool.
Hearing people talk about how much we have left.
Relaxing as we feel the sun hit our back.
With all the people lurking around.
Drinking fresh lemonade oh, how it taste so tart and great.
We notice it’s late and it’s no long day.
Oh no, we lost track of time.
Looking back at the strike out summer that we had.
We take a glace at eachother and head straight back to summer.
