What is emptiness

Emptiness is the feeling of not wanting to live

But being to scared to die

Emptiness is the white rose

it's the shades of gray

Emptiness is the corner of the bed on those dark nights

Or the the silence that falls from every wall

The well that extends far beneath the surface

It is the hollowness that caves in

a dark cave

with echoes of drips

Emptiness is the numbness

Although there is nothing to feel 

You can feel it all

Emptiness is the quiet lighthouse looking over the waters

Or the birds nest in the middle of december

Emptiness is the feeling of not wanting to live

But being scared to die
