Every Rose Has It's Thorns
Every rose has its thorns
Behind its sweet smell, vibrant colors, and soft petals lies something sharp
A single prick can leave you bleeding
But falling into the bush can leave you crushed
Watch for the roses, I say
You never know what their true intentions are
One day they will give you the love you long for and desire for
The next they will leave bleeding on the floor
Stained red for the bloody hearts left behind
The smell draws you in, making you desire and long for more
Its tempting aroma tells you to take a bite
Only for you to taste the poison in your mouth
Sure your dreams will come true
But for how long
Sure they say they love you
But do they mean it
Masters of hiding their true thorns, and getting what they want
But one thing people forget
Is every rose cut from a bush will eventually die
Wilting away till they are replaced and thrown away
Watch for the roses, I say
For every rose has its thorns
