Who I Once Was
I am the sun
That shines after a storm.
I am the flowers
Blooming after the drought.
You are the sidewalk
That people walk all over.
You are the overplayed song
That everyone gets bored of.
I will never again be
The sidewalk that is crumbling.
And I will certainly never again be
That annoying song on the radio.
We are a young girl
Who has finally found her worth.
