Self Inflicted
I am the intrusive thoughts
In your head,
The darkness of the night.
I am what makes nights have no moon.
I am the what causes the whimpers
Of sadness,
The quiet tears.
I am the mysterious reflection you see
When looking in the mirror.
I am the perpetrator that caused the
Scars on your body,
The blood on the blade.
I am your faithless ambition,
Your darkest thoughts.
Your shadow is mine,
As I am you.
Your darkest thoughts has birthed my
Existence,
And now I will strip you from your existence.
Once you reach your inevitable Demise,
I will move on to the next Victim.

I am held hostage to my illness but I am the only one who can be my savior. A thin line drawn between my pain and my joy. I will stay strong but I feel weak, my bones fragile. Here I go again, bound to battle my thoughts for eternity.
