A Paradise of You
The warm summer air rolls through the sea of grass, making the illusion that one is standing in the middle of an ocean of green
The crickets sing a melody with the frogs, their songs filling the sky as the finches and doves rest their voices
My hands cradle my head as I gaze up to the sky, watching the moon and piecing together pictures with the stars
Only one thought is present in my mind; One sentence that was said to me that changed everything
Ever since that phrase, the night sky has been one of my favorite things. The stars and the moon forming a small smile on my face
If one phrase from them was able to change the way I see the night sky, who would I become if I were able to call them mine?
The warm summer breeze brushes through my hair, my eyes closing in content. To be able to live like this forever would be to live in near paradise
