Scream
One shot, one scream,
Two shots, two scream,
Three shots, three scream,
Over 1,000 scream daily
Yet not one scream is heard
Screams that beg for an end
An end for more screams
But, the screaming continues
The spill of blood increases
Till the world turns red
And the blood covers the earth's floor
That was once made for us
To live in peace and love
When will the shooting stop?

I have recently heard about the mass school shooting at Robb Elementary School in Texas and I know it has brought lots of sorrow to the kids, friends, and families in that area. I can not imagine how they must be feeling right now, so I put together a poem to realize where this world has come to. This world was once made for us to live our lives with joy, love, and laughter, but the world has become a battlefield. The spilled blood of young ones or anyone has got to stop.
