Gray Skies
Raindrops fall from gray skies to my umbrella.
A glowing warmth from a café.
Or maybe the flicker of candles in a fancy restaurant.
Couples kiss in the window.
Lovers lock lips in love.
My love is a passion, of gray skies and raindrops.
Raindrops come hardest when gray skies turn to black.
Comfort turns to fury turns to sadness.
That's when gray skies turn gloomy.
