Unwelcome Visitors
Don’t mind the dark cloud above my head
Or the tiredness in my eyes
Sadness comes in cheap dull bursts,
And wears a great disguise.
Ignore the sad and sorrowful words pouring from mind,
It's best to know that things don't last,
and leave my gloom behind.
Unwelcome visitors don’t always stay,
Like the slow-beating heart in my chest
I think they’re here just for today
So give my thoughts a rest.
