Invective
I long for love
My sorrow drips from my lips like rain
But no one listens
For no one hears my pain
Other kids fill their mouths
All I receive is loneliness
No one to love
No one to hug
My eyes may fill with tears
But not a single soul may ask of it
Oh I can't wait for the day when I am free
Like a leaf mid drift
I can't help but feel giddy
I can change my path with some help
Soon to be renewed into a new life
For no one may ever see
What happens to children like me
All bottled up with fear
It is time to go to bed
Hopefully I can rest my head
At least an hour or two
Hopefully my dream soon comes true
