Fate
Are we resigned to our fate?
Calling it a predestiny as we fall from grace
Caring just too little or maybe just too much
Either way, I still wish I was good enough
I know we never fit together
But I still wished for forever
Still, I know it's too late
We're resigned to our fate
Nother can be our saving grace
This is why I have to stay away
I can't escape my heart
So I may just fall apart
I'd willingly return to the start
Before I was only broken parts
I know that you're someone I could never hate
We're just victims of this unfortunate fate

Break-ups are hard, but sometimes, people just aren't meant to be. A lot of problems can be fixed with compromise and work, but every once in a while, there's just nothing that can combat fate.
