Unconditional
His words were like poison,
Being burned into my skin,
After every disagreement,
Bandaged up with a simple I love you,
Not knowing if he really means it.
I love you too
The words fall out of my mouth
Uncontrollably,
My love for him is unconditional.
His love starts to leave marks on my body,
Being Covered with long sleeves
And jeans.
Theatrical he called me,
Acting became Second nature,
A smile was just another scene.
But he loves me,
He loves me so much,
So much That he adds more beauty marks to my skin,
Without hesitation.
Unconditional, my love for him.
Why must he love me so much,
His love too strong to let me go,
I want to slip away
But his claws are dug too deep into me.
Let me go,
Being the last thing to cross my mind.
Unable to be without me,
He took me with him without hesitation,
His love was unconditional.
His love was lethal.
