Two Souls
Eyes gazing out the windows
Tears blurring her vision
The skies cried too
For her anguish was great
A water droplet
Tracing the window pane
Thunder roared
Lightning flashed
A small smile
Graced her face
She wished she too
Could scream out
Wind howling
She cried
And cried
And cried
A lonely soul
Crying
Like the skies cried
During a storm
When was her storm
Going to end?
Little did she know
Another lost soul
Was watching
Across the street
Both watching
The storm overhead pass
Two lonely and lost souls
Waiting for the light
In their darkness
The break
In their storm

It's about being alone, but not truly alone. That you may be going through something, but ther eis someone who's going through the same thing as you and finding a kindred soul through a tough time or experience.
