Human life is a drug
There are negative side effects that are sometimes so strong it makes you wonder if it’s even worth it
But you know it’s healing you
You know you’re better off with it than without it
Swallow the pills like you swallow your pride
You can order drugs over the counter
You choose to take them
Although you didn’t choose to be put into this messed up beautiful world
every day you’re choosing to stay
Because all you would have to do to end it
Is stop taking the pills
