High Mountain
Her mountain was high
So steep
She's rolled down
Struggled
And cried
It's broke her too many times
And others passed her
Seeming to not know how steep it was
She gained no help
Nor did she gain any encouragement
Mud and tears
Sweat and blood
Wolves on her heels
Waiting to strike
Wind pushed her back
Obstacles in her path
Yet she carried on
Despite the setbacks
She was strong
But breaking
She didn't know how long she'd last
Up there on the high mountain of ash
