What my Name Means
My sister thinks my name means
“the nerdy one and mom’s favorite child.”
My mom thinks my name means
“A tree hugger who is as stubborn as roots” and
“Loves music like me.”
My step-sister thinks my name means
“As clingy as a leach” and
“Doesn't like to take orders, like me.”
My best friend thinks my name means
“Calls her either in the middle of class or the night.”
My dog thinks my name means
“One rub, then done.”
My science teacher thinks my name means
“Always late to class.”
My math teacher thinks my name means
“A genius but keeps quiet”
My bus driver thinks my name means
“Falls asleep to her music.”
The ant in my room thinks my name means
“Leaves crumbs everywhere for me.”
I think
Buts there's stuff that they left out, like
“Wants to live in the countryside by myself”
And “has a fear of time slipping away right in front of me”
And “will block everyone out of my life because I don't know how to handle my feelings”
And “tries to tune out reality by putting on my headphones to sink into my own world.”
