Sirens song
I am an ocean,
A body of water no end in sight.
An expanse as deep as my devotion,
A collection of tears wept over plight.
Sirens lure them to me with fake beauty,
Unaware of the dangers that lay wait.
I feel as though it is my duty,
To warn them it is me they will hate.
For my surface may look inviting,
But my depths hide monsters in the wake.
To explore my waters might sound exciting,
Too late they realize the troubles I make.
