Emotions
Pouring down your cheeks
Silently begging to be heard
As they cascade down
Disappointment filling your veins
Wanting more and more
Seeing every little flaw
Seeing every imperfection
Surrounded by perfect others
Comparing yourself
Wishing to be them
Hearing voices telling you to be better
Hearing them point out your flaws
Felling their stares
Yet, it’s nonexistent
Only existing to you
The flood releases
Feeling void; lifeless
Wanting to be happier
Feeling no desire or motivation to do so
Staring at the ceiling
Music enveloping you
In a silent symphony
Thinking back to memories
Regretting past mistakes
Realizing every thing you did wrong
At the same not at all
Thoughts plaguing every single fiber of yourself
Some of the best moments of your life
Most contradicting happiness
Wanting more
Knowing it’ll never happen
Seeing every aspect alter
Realizing it was too unrealistic
Emotions returning
Tears falling down
More and more
Lights off
Darkness invading every possible spot
Underneath layers and layers
Seeking the slightest bit of comfort
And then when you think you had it
It disappeared
Trying to fade into your dreams
Yet they never came
The ceiling mocking you
And when you do fall asleep
You wake up again
Realizing you never got away
And it returns again the very next morning.
