Middle School Friendships
I wrote a letter.
Not hateful,
Just stating the facts
To my friends.
To tell the truth,
I was very angry with them,
But tried not to show it.
In the letter, I was
A little sarcastic,
Because I wanted my friends
To feel guilty.
I shouldn’t have,
But I did.
I don’t think
I should
Get even
Just because
I am
Angry.

I am in 8th grade, and this poem represents how I felt about my friends in 6th grade. We were fighting, and I dd write a letter. We are still friends today, and we worked things out that year.
