Pinocchio
A young lad, made of wood.
Who worked with his father under the hood.
Unfortunately, he never hid the truth,
And had such a sweet tooth.
He just wanted to be a real boy,
But instead he played with his toy.
In a workshop he was made.
He was constantly afraid.
A simple lie, his nose would grow.
Then from the window came a bright glow.
There stood a fairy, in glorious blue light.
She granted him a wish, then went back into the night.
Finally! He was a real boy and he jumped with joy.
Then he went to greet his new friend Roy.
And they went on, with much laughter.
Pinocchio got his happily ever after.
