My Past
My past does not define me.
Yes I made some mistakes,
I used to be self conscious.
I used to be full of myself,
& I used to care too much about what people thought about me.
My past does not define me.
You could call me “fake”,
You could say that I tried too hard,
You could say I had a bad reputation.
But now,
I’ve changed.
I found great friends,
I found the perfect sport for me
& my relationship with God is stronger than ever before.
My past does not define me,
& you can’t hold it against me.
