spring is the worst season
Hand in foot.
Hopeful romantic.
Head over sneakers.
Whatever you want to call it.
I have a terrible affliction.
I’m in love with you,
In the gross way where my heart
Runs at 110
miles per hour
Because you look like that.
I can’t seem to squeak out a
“Hi um” today.
But know that I’m thinking it,
And know that spring
Blooms because of you.
You are the sun,
(I am a mere spectator ant)
And photosynthesis depends on
You.
No pressure.
