Too Much, Too Little
Everywhere I look,
heads down
eyes down
walls up.
They call it the Digital Age,
promote it as possibility,
devour it like chocolate.
I call it too much,
too little.
Too much isolation,
too little conversation.
Take me back
to friendships that spoke with tongue and teeth
instead of pings and snapshots
of false reality.
