The Hurricane

The impetus of wind,
of leaves akin,
corpus and cool,
prickles the skin
It sits on the ears,
the bow of the lip;
May we enjoy
its silky grip

Something about me is that I love nature, and consequently, the majority of my poems are about animals, the ocean, etc. I have a dog and a cat, both of which are rescues. I really love cool air in the summer, which is why I wrote this poem!
