Cats

A kindle of kittens,
Which we all know is so cute.
A clowder of cats,
So sophisticated yet playful.
Both need to meow,
Hiss and/or scratch.
Exceedingly soft like bamboo yarn
For which we all want to stroke.
Felines are so preeminent
If you need something cuddle.
Do not hold on too long
For cats do not like.
It is essential for a furry friend,
If not one then one hundred.
The company is quite delightful
As long as you are without a companion.
Cats are here for our enjoyment,
So do not take that for granted.
Do so remember
That cats are wonderful and fascinating.
