balance
is it really a healthy balance?
between the vanity of pretending you are in a divine plan,
a personal pawn to your otherworldly savior,
& the degradation that comes with a forced awareness of a constant looming sin.
tell me, pastor, does the contrast stabilize?
knowing you are only alive to serve someone else
a contradiction in itself
an imagined sense of superiority
masses of groveling zealots praying to be used
