Who Am I When I Sleep?
I take a sip of chamomile tea
but it's never hard for me to get to sleep.
All of my living happens in my dreams...
The back of my eyelids
always share interesting stories.
Yesterday, I was a baker in Paris
Today, I’m a filthy rich heiress
Oh how I love to become someone new...
Plans and goals and dreams
are always working to escape
the lonely, spider-webbed corners of my brain
but I only ever get to be who I want
as I close my close my tired eyes
That‘s why I can never wait to say goodnight
