The Big Wheel In The Sky

Slow motion
Enjoying the ferris wheel as the sun sets.
One hand holds the rusty metal pole tightly,
My other hand clings to my pink cotton candy.
A little boy crying as his mother comforted him with her gentle words:
“Shh Shh, Everything will be okay.”
Round and around under the blue sky
with the sweet taste of sugar.
