a sister of different blood
you view yourself as a broken porcelain doll
thrown and shattered against a brick wall
you see cracks and crevices along your ceramic skin
your glass tears create shimmering trails on their path to your chin
but darling when i look at you each and every day
i see the epitome of beauty right there on display
and so i will not rest until you can visualize
just how stunning you appear in my eyes
because a woman full of acceptance and love
deserves nothing less than the heavens above
