Within
There’s a place within me
A place that comforts me all around
A place that smells like the ocean breeze
And
A place that looks fun and cool like an amusement park
Yet,
not too crazy
Hearing the sound of rain
pouring from the sky
My ears are l o o s e at its best
It feels just like mother’s embrace
Warm
And
Relaxing
When the rains stops
I am no longer that calm girl
I open the door with fast speed just like
The Flash
and head down stairs
To the kitchen and tell mom
“I’m hungry”
