Liar
What did you say to make her stay
What lie did you feed her this time
You promised you'd take care of us
But you're gone, you got yourself gone
And you left behind a broken home
Your family you left alone
You said you wouldn't go down that road
How could we have foreseen it all?
What did she have that made you throw it all away?
And now you're broken, wasted
You can't undo what you've done
You are nothing but a liar
And what about the little boy
His childhood you chose to destroy
You wrote this story
Your hand, your pen
And if you could do it all again
Would you leave him
Like you left me?

This is a quite personal one, based on a cheating relationship. I won't go into details because it's pretty personal. But enjoy, it's not as abstract as my first poem but I think it's just as good.
